Don't Let Conflict Define Your Bond & Rediscover the Spark
Many couples sense they're in a rut but can't pinpoint the cause. They often harbor grudges, lose optimism, or feel stuck in a relationship that seems doomed to either fizzle out or remain unhappy. Your relationship doesn't have to stay stuck or become a disheartening statistic.
In reality, our therapists can identify with 94% accuracy which relationships are likely to falter. This means that, alongside your therapist, you'll uncover the specific reasons your relationship is struggling. We'll collaborate with you to address these issues and help you achieve the relationship or marriage you once envisioned.
When both partners are fully invested in the therapy process, the Association of Marriage and Family Therapy reports a satisfaction rate of up to 98% for couples in counseling. We're committed to helping you be among those satisfied couples.
“THERAPY IS NOT JUST A SHORTCUT
IT'S YOUR PATH TO A SATISFYING RELATIONSHIP.”

Counseling can also help you to strengthen your emotional connection, rebuild trust, and improve intimacy within your relationship.
Couples Counseling provides you with a safe and confidential space for you and your partner to discuss your issues and concerns with the guidance of an experienced therapist. It gives you and your partner the tools to help you restore deep connection and communication.
Attending a couples counseling session can be very beneficial for couples at any stage of their relationship, starting from premarital counseling to working through long-standing issues in your relationship. By addressing and resolving such issues constructively and healthily, you can improve your overall relationship satisfaction and build a stronger, more fulfilling partnership.
Relationship Therapy
Having a strong relationship needs nurturing, just as your personal well-being. When things get complicated, you may benefit from seeing a therapist who specializes in relationship therapy to gain a fresh perspective on ways you can create a positive energy within your life and your relationship.
In 2023, I became a Certified Gottman Couples Therapist, incorporating John Gottman's groundbreaking research into my practice. This approach is backed by extensive studies involving thousands of couples and offers proven techniques to differentiate happy couples from unhappy ones in long-term relationships.
My specialty areas include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and coping with life's challenges, as well as addressing sex and relationship issues. I have a particular knack for helping couples navigate the complexities of infidelity and conflict. My approach aims to empathize with the emotional turmoil involved and guide couples toward healing and constructive decision-making.
Signs Your Relationship Is In Trouble And Needs Help
There are several signs you can look for in your relationship that suggest you need professional help with couples counseling. Do you have any of these in your relationship?
Your discussions often start off harsh and critical
You or your partner often criticize each other
There are signs of contempt in the relationship, such as eye-rolling
Arguments often turn defensive, with one partner blaming the other for the problems
Communication comes to a complete stop, and the silent treatment
Emotional flooding and poor body language during arguments
Unresolved conflicts that have never been repaired
Negative memories are more present than positive ones
How will our therapy work
Starting with our initial intake (first session), you will meet with your therapist on a schedule that works for you. Together, I will design a care plan just for you, and as your therapist, I will track and measure your progress to ensure that you are and can meet all your therapy goals.
Please note: I am offering all sessions virtually until further notice, currently serving Texas, Florida, and North Carolina.

What To Expect
In our treatment process, the first session will be a joint session with both partners, allowing me to gain an understanding of your relationship dynamics. The following two sessions will be individual sessions with each partner, giving me insight into your unique perspectives. By the 4th session, you’ll be invited to complete the Gottman assessment, which provides a detailed look at the strengths and challenges in your relationship. In the 5th session, we’ll come together to review the results and collaboratively begin structuring our goals for therapy, setting a clear path for healing and growth using evidence-based methods.
Fees & Insurance
I understand that knowing the fees and whether I accept insurance upfront will help you save time and verify whether I’m the right fit for you.
I am an “out-of-network” provider—in other words, I do not directly accept insurance in my couples therapy practice. If you have an out-of-network plan with your insurance company and choose to use it, you may be eligible to get some reimbursement by submitting a “superbill” to your insurance company.
I have also partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
